1st Place - Cracked Face: Environmental Peace vs Destruction by Selina Lea
A lot of people nowadays don't truly believe how much of an impact climate change has on us, so my goal in creating this piece was to illustrate the fine line between our world now and a climate catastrophe because of climate change.
There is a crack down the face, separating the two sides, environmental peace (left) versus destruction (right) - however, in the piece, not even the peaceful side is fully "pure", there is pollution seeping in in the background and more fractures on the left side of the face; I included these elements to emphasize how close we are to the destruction of the environment (referencing how even small rises in temperature now have major and destructive impacts on the environment).

It is our collective responsibility to start taking action in order to save our Planet Earth. We can start making a difference little by little by opting for Sustainable Development, By teaching the young generation and Inspiring them to act now in order to save ourselves as well as our future generation.
3rd Place: Earth Getting Warmer by Julia Wrona
The Earth is gradually getting warmer, like someone frying an egg on a pan that gets progressively hotter. The result of these flames are done by us, so we have to change our lives for the better, and make this a fuss.
